Before I reached out to Marli I was struggling with portion control and my relationship with food. Struggling with IBS caused my relationship with food to be negative since I was never sure what would cause my next flare up or bout of bloating. I decided I was done feeling this way and being scared of eating or taking it to the other extreme and just eating too much at once with not much discipline. When I first joined the MetabolicsbyMG program, my intent was not to lose weight, it was more so to improve energy levels and sustain hunger levels. After just two weeks into my first program I noticed certain parts of my body transforming and shrinking and dropping weight like it was nothing, and the best part is it didn’t even feel like I was dieting.

My biggest fear going in was that I was always going to be hungry, and that it would be very restricting. It was in fact the exact opposite. I found myself rarely hungry or wanting to snack throughout my days, and my energy levels spiked. I continued with Marli and Colin for months at a time afterwards.

I cannot recommend their programs enough. It is a true lifestyle change, and you will find yourself learning and applying your new knowledge even after you complete your programs with them. The all-inclusive program was an absolute dream and the best way to go because you get all the tools you need to set yourself up for success. Marli is attentive, generous and understanding all while maintaining steady encouragement and healthy pressure on you to stay positive and on track. Over the course of only 4 weeks, I saw weight-loss and visible changes in my body that I had begun to think I wouldn’t be able to feel better about but more importantly, I felt better. I was sleeping better at night, waking up earlier without nearly as much grogginess, and felt full at the end of meals instead of the insatiable feeling I was always hungry. I was consciously making better decisions for my health and was able to shift my thinking away from working out being a chore I needed to bully myself into to an hour of the day I welcomed because it was an hour I turned my email, phone and social media off.
